Batu Caves - Hindu temple in a cave dedicated to Murugan. Through pure dumb luck, I happened to be in Kuala Lumpur during Thaipusam.
Masjid Negara (national mosque) - unlike Mosques in many countries, this one is open to non-Muslims except for the main prayer hall which is still viewable from the outside. You must dress appropriately long pants, covered shoulders, covered head as a woman and they had robes for tourists to borrow. You must also remove your shoes. The inside of the Mosque has beautiful architecture and photography is allowed.
